Thursday will open with the main event at the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) headquarters at the Chteau de la Muette, where Milei will give the keynote speech at 10:30 a.m. Paris time (5:30 a.m. Argentine time).
The event program will feature an opening presentation on the country’s macroeconomic transformation, alongside panels covering energy, mining, agribusiness, retail, healthcare, and biotechnology. After that, Milei will head to the lyse Palace, where a private meeting with Macron is scheduled for 6:50 p.m. local time (1:50 p.m. Argentina time).
It will be the fifth bilateral meeting between Milei and Macron, following encounters in Paris, Buenos Aires, and Nice between 2024 and 2025.
The Argentine delegation will then attend an official reception hosted by Macron, scheduled for 8 p.m. Paris time (3 p.m. Argentine time).
Meetings for key sectors on Friday Friday’s events will focus on strategic sectors, with meetings on technology and artificial intelligence (AI) and a panel on energy, critical minerals, and the nuclear sector held in conjunction with the International Energy Agency (IEA).
That same day, energy sector specialists will meet at the IEA to present an overview of global energy markets and assess investment opportunities arising from Argentina’s new regulatory framework for the mining, nuclear, and oil and gas industries.
Participants will include Energy and Mining Secretary Daniel Gonzlez, Nuclear Affairs Secretary Federico Ramos Npoli, Energy Secretary Mara Tettamanti, as well as provincial governors and business leaders from the sector.
