Between October 25 and November 11, Ezeiza International Airport Ministro Pistarini will operate with significant runway restrictions as Argentinas largest airport undergoes maintenance work.
Although most international arrivals and departures will continue normally, many long-haul flights will be affected.
Operations in Ezeiza will be restricted to runway 11-29, with its length limited to 1,850 meters down from the current 3,300 meters requiring airlines to adjust their flight plans.
The runways length reduction will particularly affect wide-body aircraft and long-haul services such as the Boeing 777 and 787 or the Airbus A330, which require longer runways.
Domestic flights will continue operating normally.
Airlines flying in and out of Ezeiza have informed their passengers about their plans to operate during the period, with some introducing technical stops, connections or other adjustments. A total of 14 companies will cancel their operations during runway renovations, while 17 airlines will continue operating, in some cases with changes to their schedules or itineraries. Only Air Class has not defined its plans yet.
