Music lovers have been buying tickets for Lollapalooza Argentina 2027 for the past four months, without knowing the lineup.
With prices starting at AR$ 205,000 (US$130 at the official exchange rate) for a 3-day package, those “early bird” sales were attractive to get even if you were in the dark about the confirmed artists.
But now the mystery is over, as the festival announced on Thursday the bands that will play on March 12-13-14.
This year’s headliners include American rapper Travis Scott, British singer Charli XCX, rock band The Killers, electronic music legend David Guetta, stoner rock pioneers Queens of the Stone Age, and Argentine pop star Tini.
The full list includes more than 100 artists across different musical genres. Surprises worth noting are Argentine urban music singers Dillom and Broke Carrey, British rave group The Prodigy, Texan singer-songwriter Leon Bridges, Venezuelan indie pop band Rawayana, and alternative rock group The Neighbourhood.
There is no confirmation yet regarding the days and performance times for each artist.
Historical concerts The local version of the famed festival Lollapalooza, created by alt-rocker Perry Farrell in 1991 in the United States, takes place at the sprawling magnitude of the race tracks in San Isidro, 30 kilometers from downtown Buenos Aires.
Each date usually attracts 100,000 music fans.
During the eleven prior festivals, Lollapalooza has showcased many truly historic concerts that local fans cherish. The festival’s opening in 2014 included Nine Inch Nails, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pixies and Soundgarden.
In 2015, Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant performed solo, and other acts were Cypress Hill, Pharrell Williams and Smashing Pumpkins.
Eminem played in 2016, followed by Metallica and The Weeknd in 2017; Twenty One Pilots, Kendrick Lamar, Lenny Kravitz and Arctic Monkeys in 2019; Foo Fighters and Miley Cyrus in 2022; Drake and Billie Eilish in 2023; Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Timberlake and Shawn Mendes in 2025; and Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Lorde in 2026.
