Belgium De Lannoy, who will also serve as ambassador to Paraguay and Uruguay, was previously Belgium’s ambassador in Chile. He holds a degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
I am very excited about this new challenge (…) and I look forward to traveling throughout this fascinating region, he wrote on the Belgium Embassys social media accounts.
Finland Finnish Ambassador Veikko Kiljunen later laid a wreath at the monument to General Jos de San Martn.
Kiljunen has previous experience in the diplomatic service as deputy mission head at the Finnish Embassy in Tehran. He has also worked at Finlands Permanent Mission to the UN in New York.

She joined Ireland’s diplomatic service in 2000 and previously served as Ireland’s ambassador to Croatia, among other overseas assignments.
